Camping Comfortably ships only to the continental USA, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico should select the UPS 2-day shipping option. Shipments to US Virgin Islands should select the USPS Priority Mail shipping option.
You may specify shipment service (i.e. ground, 2-day, 3-day), however Camping Comfortably will select the carrier. The Shipping method you select is used for automatic rate calculation ONLY. Your order may ship via UPS or FedEx depending on the package size and delivery area. Camping Comfortably is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the product has been delivered by the carrier.
Please refer to the Availability on the individual product page to determine when that item will likely leave the warehouse. After the product leaves the warehouse,
standard shipping times apply.
UPS Ground packages normally arrive within 3-8 full business days after they leave the warehouse. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. The delivery time is only an estimate which is not guaranteed.
If you need your order sooner, we strongly recommend that you choose UPS express shipping such as UPS 3 day select.
Express orders shipped via Next Day, 2-day or 3-day require an extra processing day. If you need your order in 2 weeks or less, we strongly recommend that you choose express shipping. Shipments for express orders are sent within 2 business days of the order. Also, please remember that UPS and FedEx do not count the ship date when calculating delivery dates. For example, if you place your order on Saturday, Sunday or Monday and request 3-day delivery, your package will be shipped no later than Tuesday (possibly Monday, based on the time of your order) and you should receive it by Friday. Deliveries are only made on business days Monday through Friday. There are no deliveries on the weekend or holidays.
Expedited shipping is offered as a convenience for our customers, however, Camping Comfortably does not guarantee shipping durations on orders. Once the package is handed off to the carrier it is their responsibility to deliver on time. Requests for shipping cost adjustments due to delayed delivery of 1-day, 2-day or 3-day shipments must be filed with the shipper.
Please be aware that once the order ships, the shipping method cannot be modified. Camping Comfortably is not responsible for shipments which are delayed due to causes beyond the control of the shipping carriers, including, but not limited to the following: Acts of God, riots, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks due to events such as weather phenomena and natural disasters.
USPS Priority Mail shipping option should be used for military addresses and the US Virgin Islands. Also please note that we only ship USPS Priority Mail packages out once a week. Please be advised that we take no responsibility or liability for orders placed using the USPS Priority Mail shipping option.
Note about USPS tracking: USPS does not track the progress of your shipment, just delivery confirmation. USPS tracking on usps.com often consists of only two statuses: "The USPS was electronically notified by the shipper to expect your package for mailing" and "Your package was delivered." For detailed tracking you can contact your local post office with the shipment tracking number. Most areas will receive the package well within the delivery timeframe quoted, and we hope the lack of detailed tracking on usps.com does not pose an inconvenience.
If you have a Military address (APO/FPO), please select USPS Priority for your delivery option. Please note that we only ship USPS Priority Mail orders once a week. USPS Priority has a maximum weight of 70 pounds, and if your item exceeds 70 pounds, you will be notified. Please see more details about Military Shipping Information.
Items which offer free shipping, apply only to standard ground shipping to the continental USA 48 states, and do not include Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, PO or APO/FPO. Please be sure to select UPS Ground shipping to avoid delays in processing your order. We do not provide free expedited shipping. For expedited shipping or shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, PO or APO/FPO, please call us.
Note that if your items are shipped 2nd Day Air, delivery to some areas of Alaska and Hawaii will be in 3 business days, depending on the destination ZIP code.
Shipping is calculated from real time UPS using a combination of weight, shipping box dimensions, and delivery destination. You can see your shipping costs by clicking "Add to Cart" and then entering your state and zip code.
You are also able to select a shipping method, and click Apply to see the shipping costs. You will always be able to see the shipping costs before you are asked for credit card information.
Customers are responsible for all shipping charges for unaccepted or refused delivery of shipments (and return shipping charges) in addition to a 25% restocking fee which will be assessed at our own discretion. This policy applies to all products, including items that are featured with free shipping promotions.
All shipping fees will be shown prior to purchase during the checkout process. Please note that due to size limitations on certain products, shipping charges may need to be added after an order is placed. If this is the case, we will contact you prior to shipment.
Shipping costs are calculated with UPS Real-Time rates, using both dimensional size and weight. However, when quantity orders are placed for bulky items (i.e. 18 personal coolers), the shipping may be calculated too low. If you wish to place an order for quantities of bulky items, please contact us so that we can provide you with an accurate shipping cost. Please note that UPS has a maximum weight limit of 150 pounds. If your order shipping weight total exceeds 150 pounds (for example if you order 20 tables) you will see a "warning" message in checkout. We reserve the right to contact you with regard to changes in shipping charges for orders of multiple products.
We ship to ship to APO/FPO Boxes, as a service to our military personnel. Be sure to select USPS Priority Mail as your shipping option for military orders. Large items such as Coolers, fireplaces, grills and items with free shipping cannot be shipped via USPS Priority. The combined length and girth of a piece (i.e., the length of its longest side plus the distance around its thickest part) may not exceed 108 inches. We do not provide free shipping to APO/FPO addresses. For expedited shipping or shipping of an item that offers free shipping to an APO/FPO, please call us.
When your order is shipped, it will take approximately 2-3 days to arrive at the military drop off in the United States (east or west coast). After drop off, the Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) takes responsibility for your shipment and it will be processed through the military mail system. Because of this there is no in-transit tracking. Military mail distribution tries to deliver a package on an average of 12 business days, but due to uncontrollable situations, it may take up to 6 weeks.
Please be advised that we take no responsibility for shipments to APO/AE/FPO's since they cannot be tracked once they are received by the military.
Please note that orders shipped to military addresses are occasionally returned to us. This may be due to the heightened security measures which restrict the size and type of package that can be delivered to a military installation. If your order is returned to us by US Mail, we will contact you. At that time you have the choice to either be refunded for the purchase price of the items (but not for the shipping costs), or have your order reshipped to a physical address by UPS. If you choose to have it reshipped you will be required to pay for this shipping expense.
it's damaged during shipping?
Occasionally a package will be damaged during shipment from handling. These claims must be made with the freight carrier.If box is damaged and the shipper is present, open and check the merchandise. Ensure any damage is documented on your receipt. Sometimes the damage is concealed (e.g. broken globe). In either case, notify us immediately and we will provide instructions within 2 business days. The shipper may want to examine or retrieve the merchandise prior to paying a claim, so please do not discard the box or merchandise. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
If your product is damaged in shipping, the issue can be resolved by notifying UPS or FedEx, however the claim needs to be filed by us.
