Methods of Payment

We accept credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal.

For Credit Card Charges we will obtain immediate authorization from your card issuing bank to reserve funds for your purchase. However, your card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship. Larger bulk orders may be subject to immediate credit card charges.

PayPal Credit is trusted by millions of customers and accepted at thousands of stores, including CampingComfortably.

We also accept cashier's checks and money orders - please let us know in advance if you will be paying with one of these methods. We accept only postal money orders denominated in U.S. dollars or checks denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.

We will also accept purchase orders from Government Agencies or Educational Organizations with a valid TAX ID. CampingComfortably is listed in the federal governments central contractor registry (CCR). This is a database used by the USA government to locate those businesses which the government prefers purchases be made from. A registry listing means the federal government considers us as one of the first suppliers for products they need.

Camping Comfortably® only sells NEW products.

While we make every attempt to fill all orders placed, occasionally an order may be delayed or backordered. If a delay or backorder occurs we will send you a notification via email. Backorders can take as much as 7-10 weeks to process. (Typically not more than 2-3 weeks.)

Our warehouses have no way of including a gift message, or gift card.

As a consumer you may be required to pay use tax in your state.

Please note that knife laws vary. Please check with your local law enforcement agency for the laws in your area.

The order form pages are served through a secure HTTPS connection. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is an accepted standard for transferring information securely across the Internet. It encrypts data passed between the server and the browser, so that unauthorized parties cannot intercept sensitive, confidential or personal information, such as a phone number, address or credit card. Our store uses SSL to protect your billing and shipping information when it's submitted through the checkout pages, which helps to ensure a reliable, secure shopping experience. Bulk orders contain a minimum of 5 or more of a particular item with a product purchase price of $200 or more. Bulk orders with a product purchase price of $1000 or more may be eligible for bulk order discounted pricing. Please call or email us. Bulk orders are not refundable.

Scouting Discount

We offer a 5% discount on camping equipment for Scouts. You can place an order using your email address and request the discount in the comments section of the order screen or, you can scan and send a copy your BSA membership card along with your order number. The request for the discount must be asked for at the time of the purchase.

How do I know if my order has shipped? 

Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us with the details of your purchase. Once shipped, you will receive a second email confirming that your order has shipped. Tracking information will also be included in that email so that you can easily track your package. For questions about tracking, please contact us at and include your name and order number.


If you need to cancel an order please send an email to and include your name and the last four digits of your order number from your order confirmation email. Any order may be cancelled without charge until the item has shipped. An item is considered shipped once the shipping label has been printed. An order is NOT considered cancelled until you have received a confirmation of the cancellation from us. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs and re-stocking fees (20%) incurred resulting from a cancellation of an order after it has been shipped. This policy applies to all products, including items that are featured with free shipping promotions. Items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund. Shipping and insurance for returning merchandise are also the responsibility of the customer. Bulk Orders which have already been shipped are not refundable.

Delivery Time

Quantities that are in stock are available for shipment. Refer to the Availability on the individual product page to determine when that item will likely leave the warehouse. Once it is shipped and depending on your shipping address, it can take between 7 to 10 days to reach you with ground shipping, but typically occurs within 3 to 5 business days. Since products may be shipped from different warehouse locations please do not be alarmed if you do not receive everything in the same shipment. If you purchase multiple products in a single order, your readily available items may be delayed by the longer-availability items. Please refer to the
Shipping FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for more information on delivery times.

Please be aware that once the order ships, the shipping method cannot be modified. Camping Comfortably, Inc. is not responsible for shipments which are delayed due to causes beyond the control of the shipping carriers, including, but not limited to the following: Acts of God, riots, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks due to events such as weather phenomena and natural disasters.

Sales Tax

Camping Comfortably® is an Illinois-based company. As such, we are required by law to apply a sales tax to purchases made at any physical retail location we operate located in the state of Illinois. Purchases made by Illinois residents via the mail, phone or internet are also taxable. At this time we are not applying sales taxes to purchases made by mail, phone or the internet by residents of states other than Illinois. NO SALES TAX, except Illinois residents. Non-Illinois residents are advised that Camping Comfortably accepts no liability or responsibility to pay sales taxes to your state. If your state requires that you pay sales taxes or use taxes in any form for out of state purchases, that obligation is solely your responsibility.

In Illinois, because the shipping is not considered part of the goods sold, it is not taxable.

What if I need warranty service?

Yes, we are an authentic authorized dealer for Coleman. Don't be fooled by sellers on eBay.
Our suppliers hold to the strictest standards of quality control, and all of our products are fully warranted by the manufacturer. If by chance you receive a product which is defective, a replacement will be shipped, as soon as the defective merchandise is returned. Defective merchandise must be returned within 21 days of receipt. Defective items will only be replaced for the same item. Eureka, Motorola and Bushnell products must be returned within 7 days of receipt. Please send an email to for return instructions and to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

All warranties for products purchased through Camping Comfortably are the responsibility of the respective manufacturers. All issues, claims and questions concerning product warranties should be submitted directly to the manufacturers. The manufacturer's warranty information and service address will be clearly marked on or in the package you receive. If you're item broke in use, please see the manufacturers warranty and contact them directly. All warranty issues will be handle under the manufactures warranty and use of the product is at your own risk.

Refused Shipments and 3rd Attempts

Any order that is returned which has been refused by the recipient, OR any order that is returned after 3 delivery attempts and the freight carrier determined it was undeliverable, will be cancelled. Shipping and handling will not be refunded and the order will incur a restocking fee, in addition to the return shipping charges. This policy applies to all products, including items that are featured with free shipping promotions. Items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund.

Some packages that contain a certain dollar amount of merchandise may require a signature. Otherwise, it is generally up to the delivery driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

Please note if a LTL (less than truckload) shipment is refused you will be billed for the return freight. The original freight and handling are also non-refundable.

Incorrect Address:
If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.

What is an address correction charge?

Incorrect shipping addresses (such as wrong house #, wrong ZIP code, missing apartment #, etc) will incur an $13.40 charge for ground packages and a $20.35 charge for air packages if the correction is made after package has shipped. Incorrect addresses may also result in delayed delivery or returned packages. Shipping fees will not be refunded for returned packages. Please review your shipping address carefully and ensure it is correct when placing your order.

This address correction fee is charged to us by UPS and FedEx and will be billed to the credit card associated with your order. If you feel you have been charged this fee in error, please contact us so we may dispute the fee with the package delivery company. We appreciate your understanding.

Governing Law

This agreement and any sales hereunder shall be governed by the state of Illinois, without regard to the conflicts of laws rules. The customer consents to the jurisdiction of the federal or state courts located in Grundy County, Illinois for purposes of any suit, action or proceeding arising out of this sale agreement. The maximum liability that shall have is limited to any amounts actually paid to Camping Comfortably by the end user.

What if I don't like it?

We accept returns for 21 days with an RMA number. Eureka, Motorola and Bushnell products will be accepted for return within 7 days with an RMA number. Please visit our Return Policy Page for details.

Anti-Fraud Policy

FRAUDULENT ORDERS: We protect our customers, and even people that don't shop with us.

For anti-fraud prevention, we now require anyone paying with a credit card, who uses a DIFFERENT "shipping address" than "billing address" to fax us the following. We require: 1) a copy of your physical credit card (front and back) 2) signature and date authorizing the transaction order number and dollar amount 3) written credit card number on the fax. Your order will NOT be processed until we receive this fax. We allow shipment only to an address approved by the cardholder. Your fax is received on a dedicated fax line in a secured office location.

If anyone attempts to place an order with a stolen credit card, we will provide your IP (Computer Address) to the users ISP (Internet Service Provider), local authorities and will also report this activity to the International Anti-Fraud Task Force (IAFT), FBI, The perpetrator's local Police Department and The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC). Camping Comfortably™ considers fraud a direct and serious threat.
